Rautasilta


Rautasilta (= iron bridge) over the River Oulu was built at 1886, so it is 120 years old. From the beginning it was a railway bridge but it has been for long for cars, bikes and pedestrians. There is a railway bridge beside.

Rautasilta Oulujoen yli valmistui 1886, joten se on 120 vuotias. Alunperin se oli rautatiesilta mutta on ollut jo pitkään autojen, pyörien ja jalankulkijoiden käytössä. Rautatiesilta on nykyään toisella puolella.

  2. What I have seen some old photos (http://oulu.ouka.fi/ppm/laukka/kuvat/2/1781.jpg) it looks the same, but it is in a very good condition.

    En nyt haluis olla pilkunviilaaja, mutta eikös se sitten ole 120-vuotias, jos se on rakennettu 1886?
