Still life with garlic - Valkosipuliasetelma
I'm going to have a garlic festival my own! These beauties are from my garlic bed witch I have at mother in law's allotment. (See the post at June 4th, I'd like link it here but blogger claims that it doesn't exist). Those funny pom-poms above are garlig flowers.
Aion pitää oman valkosipulifestivaalin! Nämä kaunokaiset ovat valkosipulipenkistäni anopin kesäpaikasta. (Katso postaus June 4, olisin laittanut linkin mutta blogger väittää ettei kyseistä sivua ole olemassa). Hupaisat pompulat valkkarien yläpuolella ovat valkosipulin kukkia.

ReplyDeleteLovely.Yam. :P The still, too.
ReplyDeleteDid you taste allready, are they tasting strong? Once bought luomu-garlics and they were so spicy that burned even my fingers to red.
These are lovely! So what are you cooking up with them? I'll be right over ;^)

ReplyDeleteSari, no they are not hot at all, actually quite mild, but this is variety called winter garlic.
Kim, I just chop it to what ever I'm cooking, usually something chinese-, thai- or indian style.
this is such a lovely picture!
ReplyDeleteNice. Very nice. Here at the bottom of the world, the garlic is just starting to sprout.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful composition, I love the contrast and the lines! Had never seen anything like it before.
