White nights are gone but very early this morning ;-) there were northern lights on the sky. (and again I was late, most bright and biggest lights had gone before I had tripod and kamera ready to shoot)
What an amazing shot! :O
ReplyDeleteThe stars and everything.. is that Otava?
I have never seen the northern lights.. :/
I`ve never seen the northern lights in 'real life' - I`ll have to get up there sometime when its possible to see them.
ReplyDeletewow, that is beatiful, I wish I would see northern lights in person some day.
ReplyDeletevery beautiful. great shot!
ReplyDeleteThank you all, but this is really very poor image about northern lights. I try to shoot better during autumn and winter.
ReplyDeleteSari, yes it is Otava.
This is a very beautiful shot! I love how the sky goes from pinkish sunset to twinkling stars above! Another for the Best of DP, Piu!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! I will be visiting a friend in Oulu in a few weeks - my first time in Finland! Your website was a really helpful glimpse of what to expect, thx!
ReplyDeleteThis is a super shot! You may feel disappointed that you were later than you had hoped, but we are thrilled just to see these at all! A lovely shot!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish we had northern lights here. Pity we're a "little" too southern... LOL
I've bounced radio signals off the northern lights in the past, but have never seen them (certainly not so south in the U.K.)
