Yellow days - Keltaiset päivät

Department store Stockmann arrange twice a year so called crazy days. It's kind of shopping fiesta lasting from Wednesday to Saturday. (well, I bought only a new espresso maker, some wine glasses, candles and lot of food ;-)

Stockmann järjestää kahdesti vuodessa niinkutsutut hullut päivät, shoppailun juhlaa keskiviikosta lauantaihin. (no minä ostin vain uuden espressopannun, viinilaseja, kynttilöitä ja paljon ruokaa ;-)

Thai Grocery shop - Thai ruokakauppa

Today we didn't made our weekend shoping at ordinary supermarket but instead at market hall and market place and at this funny place where is second-hand shop and Thai grocery shop under the same roof. Although second-hand shop had sell-out.

Tänään emme menneet viikonlopun ruokaostoksille tava markettiin vaan kävinmme sen sijaan torilla, kauppahallissa ja tässä hupaisassa paikassa missä on saman katon alla Tahi ruokakauppa ja osto- ja myyntiliike. Tosin osto- ja myyntiliikkeessä oli loppuunmyynti.

Window shopping - Ikkunaostoksilla

An Italian fashion in Oulu. I found this new boutique today, for lucky of my very thin wallet it was already closed ;-) As an information for the ladies: dress 99 €, bolero 49 €, necklace 15.50 € and bag 49 €.

Italialaista muotia Oulussa. Löysin tämän uuden putiikin tänään, hyvin laihan lompakkoni onneksi se oli jo suljettu ;-) Tiedoksi naisille: puku 99 €, bolero 49 €, kaulakoru 15.50 € ja laukku 49 €.

Market hall

In honour of 105 years old Oulu market hall this interior photo. Actually the market hall building was ready a week earlier, 1st fo May, but the business started on 8th of May. At first marketeers didn’t want to go inside from the market place open sky, so armed imperial soldiers compelled them to do so by order.

Market hall is drawn by architects Karl Lindahl and Walter Thome. Its costs was in those days 13 200 mk (79 200 €). Oulu market hall is the fifth biggest in Finland.
