It's CDP theme day and the theme is taxi. This photo is at downtown of Oulu, park of Otto Karhi's taxi station. Finnish taxis are reliable, drivers professionals and vehicles in good condition. A 5-kilometre trip costs about 10,30 euros, and a 10 km trip about 16,10 euros.

i like how the row of taxis are aligned along with the trees. was this taken recently? trees seem still very green. not a very good day in vantaa today. been raining all day and the tv is transmitting grainy pictures!

ReplyDeleteHey, the line of taxis seems to go from Porto, Portugal all the way up to Finland! I love the perspective of your shot of these five very nice cabs. Still very costly (as they seem to be everywhere), so I'll probably walk :-)

Those little yellow signs stand out well on the dark colours of the taxis.

Funny how they seem to bepronounced "taksi / taxi" everywhere in the world! A word that seems to have infiltrated every language.
